Your data, your rights — we keep it simple and transparent.
📌 1. Who We Are
SizzleQuiz (operating as SizzleOnline at sizzleonline.in) is a free educational quiz and study platform. For any privacy concerns, contact us at shivsrivas1432@gmail.com.

🍪 3. Cookies
We use minimal, necessary cookies only:
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in during your visit (expires after 2 hours of inactivity)
- Remember-me cookie — optional, encrypted, 30-day auto-login
- OTP cookie — temporary (10 minutes) to secure the OTP verification flow
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the site requires session cookies to function.
🔒 4. How We Protect Your Data
- Passwords hashed with BCrypt — never readable, irreversible
- Sensitive tokens use AES-256 Data Protection
- HTTPS enforced on all connections (HSTS enabled)
- Session cookies are HttpOnly + Secure + SameSite
- Security headers: X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, CSP
- Rate limiting on login and OTP endpoints against brute force
🤝 5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data. The only external services involved are:
- Razorpay — processes Store payments. We do not store card details; Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant.
- Email provider — used only to send OTP codes. Your email is never added to any marketing list.
⏱️ 6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- World Chat messages are in-memory only and cleared on server restart
- Quiz session data is temporary and not permanently stored beyond your score
✅ 7. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of data we hold about you
- Correction — update your name/details via your profile
- Deletion — request account deletion by emailing us
- Grievance — raise a concern at shivsrivas1432@gmail.com
We will respond to data requests within 30 days.

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last Updated" date below reflects the latest version. Continued use of SizzleQuiz after an update means you accept the revised policy.
